Appearance and accessibility settings
Settings → Appearance controls the available theme and display preferences. Planner preview shape offers 3:4 (the default), 4:5, and 1:1 in that order. It changes the image frames on the main grid, compact grid, and calendar; calendar cells change height with the selected shape. The whole saved photo crop stays visible with a blurred fill when its shape differs from the preview frame. This setting never changes a saved crop, publishing output, or Instagram preview.
System follows the device theme. The Floating Help button setting can show or hide the launcher; Help remains available in the profile menu when it is hidden. Layouts and small screens can wrap controls differently. Reduced-motion preferences should limit decorative animation. Report clipped buttons or inaccessible controls with the page, viewport or device and theme. Avoid sending private post contents when a cropped screenshot of the control is enough.
Image Defaults uses a persistent save button: muted Saved means no unsaved edits, active Save Changes saves the selected defaults, and Saving… marks an in-progress request. Appearance preferences continue to save automatically.
Accent color changes highlighted controls throughout the interface. Selected accent buttons use white text in both themes. Motion offers System, Full, or Reduced. Card Color Bloom switches the image-derived tint in post cards on or off. Transparency offers Standard glass/blur effects or more solid Reduced surfaces. Getting Started shortcut shows or hides that guide in the profile menu. These display choices do not change posting schedules, saved image output, or provider permissions.
On desktop and mobile, a small accent-colored dot (blue when your accent is blue) on the top-right edge of your profile photo indicates unread notifications or owner support messages. Its outline matches the page background. The dot disappears when nothing is unread. Open the profile photo menu to see Notifications and its unread count. Owners also see Support inbox there when support messages are unread. Header notification display choices are no longer available in Appearance; the dot and menu counts use the same behavior at every screen size. Sidebar chips remain visible.
